How to use:

• Open the battery compartment and put in 2 AAA batteries (not included).
• Close the battery cover tightly.
• Place the device in the air at least 5 cm away from any surface.
• Turn on the device and wait 5 seconds for initial configuration.
• Prepare the surface you want to measure the thickness of to ensure it is clean and free of any impurities.
• Select the desired unit (micrometer or mil) using the um/mil switch.
• Select the measurement mode: Single (SNG) or Continuous (CON) using the MODE switch.
• Place the probe perpendicular to the surface to be measured, and in Single Measurement (SNG) mode the reading will be displayed on the screen when the alarm sound is heard.
• In continuous measurement (CON) mode, keep the probe vertical and move it randomly between different points to obtain sequential readings.
• If a low battery alert appears, replace the battery to avoid inaccurate readings.
• The device automatically shuts off after 5 minutes of non-use thanks to the Auto Power Off (APO) feature.
